Great Plains Support Specialist - GCFA

GCFA is presently seeking candidates for the position of Great Plains Support Specialist. The Support Specialist will support all aspects of Dynamics GP, including installation, configuration, testing, training, and reporting. They will work closely with the GCFA tea and other entities to ensure efficient and effective implementations. The position requires strong business and technical background, coupled with an ability to interact effectively with end users. This individual will utilize best practices and methodologies to design, implement and/or upgrade Microsoft Dynamics GP and associated solutions for our clients.

Essential functions:
• Responsible for the implementation and installation of the Dynamics Great Plains (GP) Modules and Features as well as additional products that may include GP Web Client, Integration Manager, FRx6.7, Management Reporter, & Jet Reports. Understand GP version information for upgrades and installing features. Migrating instances of GP to existing instances/installs.
• Responsible for providing training to users in GP, Management Reporter, and Jet Reports. Responsibilities and topics include but are not limited to Set-up, configuration, overview, daily activities, as well as maintaining records, procedures and reports.
• Troubleshoots and resolves application issues and errors in GP. Assisting users with transactions, analysis tools, report design, integrations, and SmartLists. Maintaining SQL Server GP databases, user sessions, and jobs. Setting up users and assigning security. Create and use development environments and test companies for support and testing purposes.
• Routinely secures and maintains the Dynamics GP and related product and applications, including quarterly user security reviews.
• Partner with GCFA Connectional Relationship Teams; Conduct GP demos; Answer prospects questions; Perform Business Process Reviews and determine Functional Requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Certification in Dynamics Great Plains strongly preferred.
• Experience with Dynamics GP Integration Manager, Jet Reports, Scribe Insight, SSMS, CRG Re-Formatter & Changer, as well as integration of GP with other Third-Party Products is a plus.
• 6-7 years of directly related experience. Must have instructor knowledge and possess trainer experience. Supervisor experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Must have ability to work independently as well as a team player.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn United Methodist denominational policy and organizational structure essential.
• UMC Member is preferred
